‘Make a Flying Puppet’ Felting Workshop with Puppet Maker Emily Unsworth White

Join artist and puppet maker Emily Unsworth White to craft your own flying puppet using the needle felting technique. Over the course of the day you will be guided to create a flying puppet of your imagination. All materials and tools are supplied and are listed below. Bring along anything you may like to add to your puppet or images to work from. Bookings for this workshop are now closed.

Opening night for “Backs and Beyond” a show by artist Peter Monaghan which looks at and celebrates the beauty and dignity of humble buildings, overlooked and unseen spaces. This show also welcomes back artist Nicholas Sargent and introduces potter Peter Wills and jeweller Sophie Jauncey.
In our bay window Tanwen Wilkinson's collaboration Fragile Refuge Found will include some of the 200 unique ceramic swallows she first created as an act of remembrance and celebration of the wild beauty of the Epynt and to raise awareness of the people displaced from there and from other places around the world. Joining Tanwen is glass maker Eira Wilkinson who will be showing 4 decorative lead glass panels and potter Lisa Armour Brown.
